Payment

You can pay with any of these 2 options:
● Cash on arrival in Manila
● Bank transfer to our Philippine account(your bank will charge you with international transfer fee)

Visa

For most of the nationalities, visa on arrival is free for stays up to 30 days. You can extend your visa at the immigration office in the Philippines if you would like to stay longer.  Check with your respective embassies regarding your visa requirements depending on your nationalities.  Get in touch with us and let us know if you need any assistance.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included with the price. Make sure you are covered with travel insurance for peace of mind. Some credit cards offer travel insurance (VISA, Mastercard, American Express). To get this benefit, you need to pay your flight ticket with your credit card. The duration and guarantees vary depending on your type of card, classic, first, gold Attention: benefits are different depending on the bank that issued the card. It may be wise to take ADDITIONAL travel insurance when, for example, you are traveling for more than 90 days and you pay with a conventional card (very low coverage), no insurance is provided with your card or you simply want better guarantees. Travel insurance typically covers different areas: reimbursement of medical expenses incurred locally, repatriation and assistance in case of death, liability insurance, travel assistance, extreme sports, luggage In case of medical care during your stay in the Philippines, you are going to pay for your medical expenses on site. Keep your proof of payment. When you come back to your home country, demand for a reimbursement from your insurance. Each insurance has different benefits. Check before you go if your insurance provides international coverage.

Vaccine

No vaccine is mandatory. Recommended vaccinations: Viral hepatitis A and B, diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, typhoid, Japanese encephalitis (in case of prolonged stay in rural areas).  Make sure your conventional vaccines are up to date and see your doctor who can advise you based on the length of your stay.

Arrival and departure at the airport

We will wait for you outside the arrival terminal, a staff from Go Surfari will be picking you up from the airport to the hotel in Manila. Same with departure, a staff from Go Surfari will bring you to the airport

Travel

We will be traveling around the Philippines(depending where is the swell) with a car, we will spend a lot of time on the road so be prepared.

Car

● Ford Everest: fits 8 people including the driver. This car will be the main car for Go surfari clients.● Toyota Vios: fits 5 people including the driver. This car will be used by the staff and the equipments.

Food and drinks

We will be traveling with a cook who will prepare our meals(breakfast, lunch, dinner) but we will still eat at restaurants sometimes specially when we are traveling and we dont have time to cook. Drinks(water, coffee, tea, juice, softdrinks) are included. Alcoholic beverages are not part of the price of the trip. Let us know if you have any preference, dietary restrictions or food allergies.

Lodging

We will be going to places that is mostly not touristy except for surfing. Because of this, most of the resorts where we will be staying are mostly small and has standard and basic rooms (fan rooms without air conditioning). There are a few surf spots where we will be staying in camping tents because there is no lodging available near the area. You will be sharing the room with a maximum of 5 surfers. There is a possibility to have your own room (depending if there is availability)for an extra fee.

Surfboard and surf instructor

Surfboard rentals and instructors are not included with the surfari package. The price of the surfboard rental for the whole duration of the trip is 200. The surf instructor will be a fee per hour basis.

Go Surfari Staff

There will be a number of Go Surfari staff traveling with you. You will always be with a staff throughout the whole Surfari

Itinerary and surf spots

We will go where there is a swell and bigger chance to surf. We will send you the finalized itinerary a couple of days before the start of your Surfari.

Money Change and cash withdrawals

You can change your money to the local currency (Philippine Peso) from your home country. However, it will be better to change your money in the Philippines. We can also assist you in exchanging currency. There will be a lot of cash machines around where you will be able to withdraw money from your card.

We will all be staying at a private house with kitchen, living room and other amenities. You will be sharing the room with a maximum of 4 surfers. There is a possibility to have your own room (depending if there is availability)for an extra fee.

Surfboard and surf instructor

Surfboard rentals and instructors are not included with the surfari package. The price of the surfboard rental for the whole duration of the trip is 300€. The surf instructor will be a fee per hour basis.

Itinerary and surf spots

We will mainly stay at the place where we are doing a Surfcamp, however there will be days when we will be checking out other spots and doing side trips to other placed.
